Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola-Salako recently spoke out about the personal and financial challenges she faced for supporting President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 elections.
In an interview with Behind The Fame TV, she revealed that she lost two ambassadorial contracts worth N10 million and N15 million due to her political stance, and that her marriage nearly suffered because of the backlash.
“I know what I lost without receiving any financial benefits,” she stated. “I voted based on my conscience and choice, and I have no regrets.”
Daramola-Salako served as the media assistant for the performing arts directorate of APC’s presidential campaign council in Lagos State. She remains loyal to Tinubu, whom she considers a supportive father figure.
