What is the focus of your foundation?
The Edna Ubebe Foundation focuses on supporting the elderly, displaced children, and underprivileged individuals. Our mission is to provide assistance in areas such as education, healthcare, and small business empowerment.
Why did you go into charity?
Charity has always been a personal calling for me. It stems from my belief in giving back to the community and making a positive difference in people’s lives.
Have you faced any challenge(s) that motivated you into it?
Yes, witnessing the struggles of vulnerable individuals and families inspired me to take action. These challenges reinforced my commitment to creating a platform that provides hope and support.
How many people have benefited from the foundation?
To date, the foundation has supported hundreds of individuals by paying school fees, starting SMEs, and providing essential care for the elderly and displaced children.
What is your projection for the foundation in the new year?
In the coming year, we aim to expand our reach, partner with more organizations, and launch additional initiatives to address pressing community needs effectively.
