Afrobeats star David Adeleke, known as Davido, paid tribute to his late son Ifeanyi nearly three years after his tragic passing. In a heartfelt post on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, “Ifeanyi David Adedeji Adeleke, rip legend!!”
After Ifeanyi’s death, many Nigerians and celebrities, including Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and rapper Meek Mill, expressed their shock and condolences. They recognized that no parent should have to endure the pain of losing a child.
Davido took a break from the public eye but returned with his album “Timeless” in 2023. He and his wife, Chioma, also welcomed twins born in the United States that same year.
