Adeojo Charges New Health Workers to Uphold Excellence

The Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, on Tuesday received newly recruited Primary Health Care (PHC) staff at the council secretariat, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery across the local government area.

The reception ceremony, which marked the official induction of the new health personnel, was attended by top officials of the council, including the Chief of Staff, Hon. AbdulAfeez Yahayah; the PHC Coordinator, Mrs. Suraj Odukojo; and several other senior career officers.

In his remarks, Hon. Adeojo charged the incoming healthcare workers to embrace professionalism, compassion, and dedication in the discharge of their duties, emphasizing their crucial role in improving community health.

“As dedicated healthcare professionals, you play a vital role in improving the health and well-being of our community. Your expertise and passion will significantly impact the lives of our residents,” he stated.

He further urged the new staff to work collaboratively with existing personnel to boost the quality and reach of primary health services across Ido Local Government.

“Together, let’s make Ido Local Government a model for healthcare excellence. I wish you a fulfilling career and look forward to witnessing the positive impact you’ll make,” Adeojo added.

The recruitment and deployment of the new PHC staff come as part of broader efforts by the local government to revamp the healthcare system and ensure effective service delivery at the grassroots level.
