Traders Anticipate Economic Growth as Council Boss, Adeojo Inspects Market Project In Omi Adio

The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, on Monday, paid an inspection visit to the construction site of the Omi-Titun Ultra-Modern Market, a major infrastructural project aimed at boosting commerce and trade in the local government area.

Hon. Adeojo was accompanied by the Director of Works for the local government, Engr. Salman Olaide, and the Supervisor for Works, Engr. Adedamola Olajide. The visit was part of ongoing oversight to ensure the project is delivered according to standard and within schedule.

The market construction is being handled by Messrs SYDAM Concept Nigeria Limited, a firm known for its track record in civil engineering and infrastructural development.

Addressing journalists during the inspection, Hon. Adeojo expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering infrastructure that meets the needs of the people.

“This market, when completed, will not only decongest existing trading spaces but also create a conducive environment for business and investment,” Adeojo said. “Our goal is to uplift the economic activities of Ido local government and empower our traders with modern facilities.”

The Omi-Titun Ultra-Modern Market is expected to feature well-structured stalls, parking spaces, sanitation facilities, and other modern amenities to support a vibrant commercial ecosystem.

The council chairman urged the contractor to maintain high standards and adhere strictly to the project timeline, assuring that the local government will continue to provide necessary support for timely completion.
