“I lived with Chioma for a solid eight years before we got married,” asserted Davido.

Nigerian Afrobeat artist David Adeleke, known as Davido, recently revealed that he and his wife, Chioma Rowland, lived together for eight years before getting married.

In an interview on The Bootleg Kev Podcast, he reflected on their relationship, noting that their long cohabitation made their transition into marriage smoother. “I met her in my third year of college, and I feel fortunate we moved in together early,” he shared.

Although their history laid a strong foundation, Davido acknowledged that marriage comes with its own challenges. “The transition was seamless, but marriage is a profound commitment,” he explained.

He also commended Chioma for her unwavering support throughout his music career, stating, “She always understood my work and knows I find joy in it, just as I love seeing her thrive in the kitchen.”
