Activist Deji Adeyanju has condemned TikToker Peller after he advised Nigerians to stop participating in the #30DayRants challenge. During a recent livestream, Peller expressed concerns that continued criticism could lead to TikTok being banned in Nigeria, stating that he couldn’t risk his livelihood.
Adeyanju joined the backlash, asserting that Peller has no right to dictate how Nigerians express their frustrations. On his Facebook page, he shared a photo of Peller and wrote: “Who is this person telling people not to rant on TikTok? Is TikTok your father’s house? Shouldn’t you be in school? You have no right to tell Nigerians how to express their frustration!”
