It was indeed a gathering of royalties at this year edition of Simpli Praise 5•0 tagged Chosen Generation.
The event which was conceptualized through divine leadings of the Holy Spirit and packaged by a philanthropist of great distinction who is always ready to give succour to the downtrodden without looking back, Evangelist Dr. Edna Wuraola Ubebe will remain indelible in the annal of history for years to come.
Witnesses revealed how the Arole Oodua, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Eniitan led over 20 traditional rulers to the event at the prestigious, Tafawa Balewa Square.
Also, gospel music ministers numbering about 50 performed at the event, including Evangelist Funmi Aragbaiye, Tope Alabi, Chigozie Wisdom, Lilian Nneji, Yinka Alaseyori, Oladosu twins, Bidemi Olaoba, Testimony Jaga, Ibitayo Jeje, Big Bolaji, Dare Justified, Titi Euba, Bukola Bekes among others.
In an exclusive interview with the convener of the event, Evangelist Dr. Edna Wuraola Ubebe, she revealed that Simpli Praise is a movement ordained by God. ”God gave me the vision and I followed every instruction from Him alone”.
The hardworking woman of substance, who also used the occasion to distribute palliative to the less privilege and almost all the attendees numbering about 20 thousands at the program said, ”Edna Ubebe Foundation focuses on supporting the elderly, displaced children, and underprivileged individuals. Our mission is to provide assistance in areas such as education, healthcare, and small business empowerment. That is exactly what we are doing today”
Speaking further, she said, ”Charity has always been a personal calling for me. It stems from my belief in giving back to the community and making a positive difference in people’s lives. Witnessing the struggles of vulnerable individuals and families inspired me to take action. These challenges reinforced my commitment to creating a platform that provides hope and support.”
