The Chairman/CEO Rock Radio TV Ibadan, who is also the Special Assistant on Mobilization to Oyo State Speaker, Rt. Hon Adebo Ogundoyin says “Christmas is that time of the year that brings joy, love, and celebration to everyone. A season to spread happiness and wrap it with wishes brought from the heart of all loved ones. It is celebrated on 25th December every year as the birthday of Lord Jesus Christ, who is the founder of the Christian community. According to the New Testament, Jesus was born to Mary and Joseph in Bethlehem, and birth is considered a realization of the prophecies regarding the Messiah who was supposed to be the Savior of mankind.
Christians celebrate Christmas to mark the event of God’s incarnation as a human so that he could protect humankind. This season depicts hope, peace, and love that reflect the aspects of the teachings and life of Jesus Christ.
