Amb. Opeyemi Ayanrinde, popularly known as ‘MC Swagger,’ has expressed heartfelt gratitude and dedication after receiving a distinguished service award, which he chose to honor the members of the Association of Nigerian Broadcasters (ANBROAD) Oyo State Chapter. In a moving statement following the recognition, Ayanrinde, the Governor of ANBROAD Oyo State, thanked his colleagues and the broadcasting community for their unwavering support and belief in his leadership.
“All I see is Grace, nothing but Grace. Back to Back, I will never be ungrateful,” he wrote, acknowledging the love, honor, and recognition bestowed upon him by his fellow members. He continued, “Sincerely, I must appreciate all fellow colleagues and members of ANBROAD Oyo State Chapter. Thanks for believing in me as your leader and GOVERNOR.”
In his message at Unlimited Appreciation 2.0 organised by Pillar of Entertainment, Ayanrinde emphasized his commitment to serving the association with integrity, promising to continue upholding the values of unity and brotherly love during and after his tenure. “I promise to keep the flag flying. The spirit of unifier and brotherly love will continue to grow,” he said, expressing his gratitude and hope for the continued success of the organization.
The Governor also extended his thanks to key figures in the entertainment industry, including Baba Gbajamo and his crew, who were instrumental in the recognition and award. “Thanks to PILLAR OF ENTERTAINMENT (Baba Gbajamo and Crew), for this recognition and award,” he said.
In addition, Ayanrinde expressed special appreciation for several influential individuals in the industry, including Alhaji Babatunde Saheed (Mr. Sport), Alhaji Adeshina Jagunmade Paj 1, Alhaji Oyetayo Oladimeji (Tayo Okunrin), Olasunmade Akano, and many others who have contributed to his journey and the growth of broadcasting in Oyo State.
In a final note of gratitude, Ayanrinde dedicated the award to God Almighty and to all Radio and TV broadcasters in Oyo State, reaffirming his commitment to the broadcasting community. “I will never disappoint you, so help me God,” he vowed.
