Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC, Ogun State chapter has described the conduct of just concluded Local government elections in the State as free and fair exercise.
The Chairman of the council, Comrade Sanyaolu Abayomi at a news conference in Abeokuta, the State capital, hailed Governor Dapo Abiodun and Ogun State Independent National Electoral Commission for smooth and enabling environment for the peaceful conduct of the election.
He said the exercise was devoid of any violence.
The Chairman of the IPAC, however, noted that the council will continue to work with the government in order to foster unity and development of the State.

Inter Party Advisory Council IPAC Ogun State Hails Governor DAPO ABIODUN CON Over Peaceful Conducts L. G. Elections.
The Inter Party Advisory Council IPAC Ogun State hereby gives kudos to the ever performing peoples Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun over the smooth and peaceful conducts of Local Government Election in to the 20 Local government and 236 wards yesterday the 16th day of November 2024
I Comrade Abayomi Sanyaolu, the State chairman of Ogun State Inter Party Advisory on behalf of other political parties Chairman also extend our congratulatory message to an outstanding achiever and Chairman of OGSIEC Bar Babatunde Osibodu for showing the capacity to conduct free and fair election
We appreciate the efforts of Governor Dapo Abiodun for providing enabling and peaceful atmosphere for the election as there was no record of violence before, during and after the election.
Ipac under my leadership also applaud OGSIEC for being a partner in progress and listening to our various demands.
This election had all parties participating and we congratulate the winners whom are being given the letters of certification Today, we encourage you all to continue to deepen democracy in all of your local government areas by ensuring an open door policy amongst all Political parties as you are the leaders of the local government.
We shall continue to work with the State Government in our various capacities.
