Popular Nigerian Gospel musician Damilare Odunuga, known professionally as Dare Melody, has shared how his family treated his late wife, Adedoyin, unfairly.
In a viral video posted on Kilarigbo’s YouTube page, Dare Melody opened up about the harsh experiences Adedoyin faced from his family. He said, “My family frustrated Adedoyin. I would hold her and tell her, ‘Adedoyin, I am the one you married to, and whenever you see me, put your mind at rest.’ She was there for me, whether we had food or not.”
Dare Melody recalled how God had instructed him to release a record in 2010, which became “Goodness and Mercy.” He noted that this record rejuvenated his career and opened doors for him, allowing him to start building a house.
“A friend called me and said, ‘This woman stood by you; let’s build a house for her,’ and I responded, ‘Everything I have belongs to her,’” he stated.
The couple married in October 2017 and have three daughters together.
